Another major milestone for the Turkish Defense industries, AKINCI UCAV is presented in a documentary about its development process. The documentary reveals exclusive sights and footages from the research and development phases of Turkey’s first UCAV, manufactured by Baykar.
COVERING 6 MONTHS OF FOOTAGES
Set place in BAYKAR’s compounds in Istanbul, and directed by Altuğ Gülan and Burak Aksoy, filming of the documentary spanned many months. The documentary project set out in February 2019 and it took 15 months to be completed. The documentary is focused on the laborious six months leading to the first flight of AKINCI UCAV on the 6th of December 2019.
